About the Game

An illustrated adventure game of a girl’s journey to find herself as she aids a forgotten guardian in its quest to restore history. Set in a world mutated and twisted from neverending war, the game is based on the world of the "Keeper and the Girl" which itself is based on Jessica and her family's efforts to understand and overcome their past struggles with child abuse.

"...one of the best forms of our talents is expression from raw emotion. It’s therapeutic and even necessary to express the emotions our upbringing tells us to shut down... Together, and with the support of our loved ones, we are able to have the confidence to share these expressions with the world.”

Origin

Developed through more than 10 years worth of writing and artwork, “Keeper and the Girl” story and game world are based on Jessica's, our cofounder's, life experiences. Her creative expression through the world of the “Keeper and the Girl” and its characters and stories are paramount to her and her family’s recovery from their experiences with child abuse. Driving her to further herself in art/visual development since elementary school, the “Keeper and the Girl” project has shaped the person she is today. It fuels her drive to not become just another statistic, to be independent and her own advocate to survive, work hard, and lay a positive foundation for growth. This game is a letter to her sister, her father, and anyone who has suffered similar abuse at the hands of a loved one. A testament to what they went through, both alone and together, during their darkest hours and times of greatest need.

Our studio is a strong advocate for children's charities, organizations, education, and welfare. We plan to host and participate in charity streams, and volunteer at local and international opportunities. If you would like to chat or reach out to us about an opportunity please visit our contact page.
